We are a learning center that provides many services to the spiritual community:

• Celebrating the rich spectrum of Gods and Goddesses from many cultures
• Building a spiritual community of peers, each of whose seeking enhances the growth of everyone else's seeking
• Fostering spiritual growth along the unique path of each person's incarnate purpose
• Presenting spiritual knowledge, mysteries, and philosophy
• Sharing the goods and services of our staff with the larger community
• Developing a partnership culture based on the intrinsic worth of each sentient being
• Promoting tolerance within and among spiritual communities
• Providing access to information about the Fellowship of Isis (FOI) and membership in the organization
• Teaching classes through the FOI mystery dramas as part of the College of Isis, which permits students to seek the priesthood, become an Adept, or attain some of the other degrees the FOI provides
• As an Archpriesthood Union (AU) center, we provide registration of degree attainments and FOI membership to the spiritual community, and help maintain and carry on the work of our founders, Lady Olivia Robertson, her brother, Lord Lawrence Durdin-Robertson, and his wife, Lady Pamela Durdin-Robertson.

Isis of the Stars welcomes believers from many different paths, hoping to improve access to the ancient mythic knowledge for a wide range of people. We believe in tolerance for each person's unique journey towards Deity, and foster that growth through study of the Fellowship of Isis mystery dramas, and classes offered by out Temple staff. All information on this site represents the opinions and understandings of the staff of Isis of the Stars.

Michael A. Starsheen, Archpriest

Michael Starsheen heads up the Isis of the Stars organization, and is designing this site to serve people who seek a mystical perspective on the worship of the Deities of world culture. Michael has studied mythology, history, archaeology, and esoterica for most of his life, and is dedicated to promoting a better understanding of how humans (and other sentient beings) relate to Deity and vice versa. He combines a strong scientific background with an equally strong knowledge of magic to enhance his understanding of how the universe works on all levels. As a result, he had developed a keen philosophy of work and worship that he hopes to share with interested visitors to this site, and to teach others to learn to respect and work with Deity in their everyday lives.

As an Archpriest, Michael serves the FOI community in several capacities:

• A liason for information about the Fellowship, its liturgy, degree programs, and philosophy.
• A coordinator for FOI degree program training, such as mentoring people toward their priesthood, or helping them to become an Adept.
• A coordinator for in person and attuned performance of FOI liturgical mystery dramas, both as written by Lady Olivia Robinson, our founder, and as adapted for solo performance by Michael.
• An administrator for community building, through membership and degree registration.

Michael follows a very eclectic background of service to the Gods, working primarily as a shaman and visionary between our everyday reality and the Greater Reality within which we all reside. He is a priest of the old school, where the term "Hem Neteru" means "Servant of the Gods." He has studied magic in a variety of traditions, from Wicca to Umbanda, and has synthesized his own, unique style for working with the energies of the Greater Reality. He draws on the memories of a number of past lives in many cultures to help guide him in his understanding of the Universe, as well as the scientific disciplines of this one, which include physics, astronomy, geology, archaeology, and psychology. He teachers many different esoteric classes, writes spiritually oriented books, conducts guided psychic journeys, and paints his visions as a fine artist. He is also a Reiki master, and both gives attunements and distant healing sessions on request.
